What do you add your syrups to?

This weekend I had the opportunity to go camping with my family. The hit of the whole weekend was the Davinci Syrups I bought from Standard Restaurant Supply. We had three different flavors, Caramel, coconut, and French Vanilla. We added them to everything! Coffee, hot cocoa, my sister even added some to her Diet Coke! Not only can they be used in drinks, but food as well. One night we made Grilled Coconut Shrimp Kebabs (which uses the coconut syrup) We placed the kebabs over a bed of coconut rice, and let me tell you all how fantastic it was, the secret was the Davinci Syrup!

Caramel Syrup

Here is the recipe:

½ cup Davinci Gourmet Coconut Classic Syrup

36 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (roughly ¾ lb.)

1 clove garlic, minced or pressed

salt and freshly ground black pepper

¼ cup shredded coconut, toasted

1-2 teaspoons chipped fresh cilantro

18 small bamboo skewers

Soak the bamboo skewers in water while preparing the glaze.

In a large bowl, combine the Coconut syrup, lime zest and juice, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Mix in the shrimp and let marinate for 30 minutes.
Thread the shrimp onto the soaked skewers. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Grill skewers over medium high coals for 2-3 minutes on each side, while regularly brushing with any remaining glaze. When the shrimp are cooked through, remove from the heat and sprinkle with toasted coconut and freshly chopped cilantro. Serve hot or cold.

I am thinking maybe some finer grind couocnt in the dough, egg white wash for baking, then dabs of a sweet sticky wash after baking with some couocnt stuck to it.
